Good morning,

Regarding your request:

Request: A spreadsheet containing all data reported to the California Department of Justice from 2018-21 pursuant to the Racial and Identity Profiling Act, including all columns of information/variables as well as all location and narrative columns reported under this program. If one or more columns is determined to be non-disclosable or exempt, please provide all remaining columns of information.

SJPD Response: The Crime Analysis Unit (CAU) is able to provide the RIPA data for 2019-2021. There is no fee to query these records however, there is a large amount of data that needs to be extracted and prepared for release. The expected time to provide this data is 4-6 weeks. The CAU may be able to provide the information on a rolling basis. Please advise me on if you still wish to proceed with this request and if you wish to receive the data all at once or on a rolling basis.

Thank you,
-April
