Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:

We are looking for all documents related to the San Francisco County contract with Accela to purchase Accela permitting software, including the original contract, the date, implementation and maintenance costs, total cost, contract duration, and all services rendered.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Response:

We are working to gather all documents responsive to your request. However, we need you to clarify the documents you expect for “…all services rendered.” Please help us narrow our search so we can best produce the responsive documents to your request. We will be in touch with you within the 10-day period, which is no later than on Monday, August 14, 2017.

Please note that we are providing documents only from the Department of Building Inspection. The original contract was signed in 2012, thus, documents relating to that will be provided. Please confirm the time period of your request, i.e. 2012 to date of request. The Department of Technology may also have a contract with Accela, which you can obtain by contacting them directly at DTRecordsRequest@sfgov.org<mailto:DTRecordsRequest@sfgov.org>.

Please see attached documents in response to your August 4, 2017 request and reflecting subsequent clarifying email on August 9, 2017. We continue to work with Accela on implementing this new software system for DBI. We do have a new contract with them that is being handled by the Department of Technology.

We have finished conducting our search and found no other documents responsive to your request. Therefore, we consider your request closed.
