Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
All text or chat messages (including but not limited to SMS, whatsapp, wechat, signal, etc.) between HSOC head Sam Dodge and any of the following: anyone at the Mayor's office (including but not limited to London Breed and Sean Elsbernd), Jeff Kositsky, Alaric Degrafinried, OR any SFPD employee, including any group messages, timestamped Jan 1 through Nov 22nd 2021 (inclusive), including a search of personal phones, laptops, and other devices under City of San Jose vs Superior Court (2017). Please provide the results in a searchable format and release them on a rolling basis.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
