To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. Copies of the complaint filed against Jovaughn Timms and any amendments to the complaint.

2. Any briefings or documents filed with the Superior Court in connection with the sentencing of Jovaughn Timms in Judge Rita Lin’s courtroom, that were not filed under seal or subject to a protective order.

3. A copy of any papers the DA’s office filed in the Superior Court in opposition to the release of Daniel Cauich in 2021.

In all cases, produce exact copies of communications and search govt accounts/devices and also personal accounts/devices of every form or app. Preserve all participants, email addresses, date/time stamps, to/from/cc/bcc, attachments (in their original electronic form).

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
