I'll be putting the final touches on for a few more hours yet.

If I can log into my Google Drive account, I can bring it up that way.

I was also hoping to do a live demo (filing public records requests), which would require logging into my Muckrock.com account.

Obviously, using my own laptop would be easier, but I understand if that's possible.

We will have laptop and projector so you may want to bring a thumb drive with ppt? Or you can email your ppt presentation to me and I'll have it up and ready to go?

Excellent. I may only do 30 minutes, then leave the remainder for questions and some practical application. In past presentations, I've filed requests live to show people how it's done.

How's this?

Dave Maass, an investigative researcher at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, will discuss how citizens can ensure government transparency, covering the Freedom of Information Act, recent updates to the California Public Records Act, and the San Francisco Sunshine Ordinance. Attendees will hear about EFF's work on transparency and learn practical tips for obtaining information from government agencies.

Is that what you had in mind for the workshop? I can adjust if you were thinking something difference?

Hi!

I literally have nothing on my schedule in January, although I do sit on the Sunshine Ordinance Task Force and they may schedule some committee meetings. For now, though, if you just avoid the first Wednesday in January we should be good.
