Pursuant to the California's Sunshine Amendment (Cal. Const. Art. I, ยง 3(b)), I hereby request the following records:

Any and all documents, inbound emails, meetings notes, records of phone calls, press releases, memoranda and any other relevant materials relating to communications between the San Francisco Public Library and the Federal Bureau of Investigation between January 1 and October 31, 2013.

Please ensure that the Glen Park branch of the SFPL receive a copy of this request, and with the instructions to focus specifically on the weeks leading up to October 2, 2013.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Dear Mr. Jones:

I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information Request dated May 12, 2014.

You requested the following records "Any and all documents, inbound emails, meetings notes, records of phone calls, press releases, memoranda and any other relevant materials relating to communications between the San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) between January 1 and October 31, 2013." You also ask to "ensure that the Glen Park branch of the SFPL receive a copy of this request, and with the instructions to focus specifically on the weeks leading up to October 2, 2013."

The Library has no responsive documents to this request since there were no communications between the SFPL and the FBI during this time period.
