Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

Please provide:

1. All text messages, Signal messages, or other chat messages sent to or from Chief William Scott and EITHER Carla Short, Mary Ellen Carroll, Sam Dodge, anyone at Urban Alchemy, Brooke Jenkins, any Board of Supervisors members, the Mayor's office (including but not limited to Mayor Breed, Sean Elsbernd, and Andrea Bruss), between Jan 1, 2022 and July 18, 2022 (inclusive), including a search of personal cell phone devices under City of San Jose vs Superior Court (2017). Please include group messages.

2. All emails sent to or from Chief William Scott, any other SFPD chief, any SFPD captain, and the SFPD commander who is the SFPD lead of HSOC sent or received between April 15, 2022 and July 18, 2022 (inclusive) containing the search terms “encampment" or "tent".

Please provide results in searchable format and release them on a rolling basis.

Please EXCLUDE any emails with subjects that contain the phrase "S.F.Clean Tent Count" and exclude attachments associated with those emails.
Please EXCLUDE teams chats containing 10 or more recipients .
Please EXCLUDE calendar invites.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
