From: San Diego County Sheriff

Dear Ms. Lipton:

The San Diego County Sheriff's Department is in receipt of a follow-up email from February 9, inquiring about the status of a CPRA request that was supposedly sent to the Sheriff's Department on November 4, 2016.

It appears from the body of the request that this CPRA was intended for the San Diego Police Department, not the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, as evidenced by the highlighted portions below, and by the fact the original request was never received by the Sheriff's Department.

The Sheriff's Department will take no further action on this request unless and until you respond to this email and indicate that the request is intended for the Sheriff's Department. Please direct any responses to this email address.

Sincerely,

WILLIAM D. GORE, Sheriff
