Checks Issued in 2013 - Unified Port of San Diego

Dear Cynthia,

I hope you are well and enjoying the Fall in San Diego. Pursuant to the California's Sunshine Amendment (Cal. Const. Art. I, § 3(b)), I hereby request the following records:

An electronic record of any and all checks issued between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2013, including but not limited to fields showing date, amount, recipient name, recipient affiliation, payor(s), project, purpose, and any notes.

I ask that you please export and provide the check registry in its original electronic format, whether that is in an Excel spreadsheet or a delimited text file. Please contact me at 202-615-3551 if you have any questions or if you are unable to provide the records in one of these formats.

I also request that fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the journalism organization inewsource, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
