Pursuant to the Government Records Access and Management Act, I hereby request the following records:

ii) Any memos, documents, reports, video and other material the Agency would generally provide to the public through members of the media relating to “Brian Christopher Laundrie”, otherwise known as “Brian Laundrie”, a fugitive wanted in connection to the homicide of his fiancé, Gabrielle Venora Petito.
ii) Reports of possible sightings of Brian Laundrie from September 10, 2021 to Present Day.
iii) Calls for service relating to potential Brian Laundrie sightings filed between September 10, 2021 to Present Day.
iv) 911 audio of reports pertaining to possible Brian Laundrie sightings filed between September 10, 2021 to Present Day.

A) Background.

(a)(1) Between August 27 and 30, 2021, 22-year-old New York native Gabrielle Venora Petito (the “Homicide Victim”) disappeared while she was on a van-life trip across the United States with her fiancé, Brian Christopher Laundrie (the “Fugitive Fiancé”).

(a)(2) Between September 6 and 8, 2021, Christopher, Roberta, Cassie and Brian Laundrie (collectively “the Laundrie Family”) went to a campground about 75 miles away from their home.

(a)(3) On September 11, 2021, the Homicide Victim was reported missing.

(a)(4) On or about September 13, 2021, the Fugitive Fiancé fled to avoid apprehension in the event Ms. Petito’s body was found.

(a)(5) On September 14, 2021, Christopher and Roberta Laundrie, (collectively “the Laundrie Parents”), returned to the area outside the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park to look for him and found their Ford Mustang with an abandoned vehicle notice placed on it, attorney Steven P. Bertolino said.

(a)(6) On September 15, 2021, the Laundrie Parents returned to the park to retrieve the vehicle. That same day, the Fugitive Fiancé was named a person of interest in connection to Ms. Petito’s disappearance.

(a)(7) On September 17, 2021, the Laundrie Parents filed a missing persons report with the North Port Police Department for their son, the Fugitive Fiancé.

(a)(8) On September 19, 2021, authorities found Gabrielle Venora Petito’s remains in a remote area of Grand Teton National Park & Bridger-Teton National Forest in Teton County, Wyoming (For verification of death, please see this statement issued via Twitter by the FBI: https://twitter.com/fbidenver/status/1440421552042897415?s=21)

(a)(9) On September 20, 2021, agents of the FBI and local police agencies executed a search warrant and declared a “crime scene” at the Laundrie North Port residence. (a)(10) On September 21, 2021, the FBI confirmed Ms. Petito’s body had been identified and the ‘initial determination for the manner of death’ was homicide.

(a)(11) On September 22, 2021, the U.S. District Court of Wyoming issued a federal arrest warrant for the Fugitive Fiancé. B) Investigating Agencies and Public Interest.

(b)(1) The FBI, in coordination with the National Park Service, the U.S. Forest Service, the Teton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Jackson Police Department seek assistance from anyone who utilized the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area between the dates of August 27-30, 2021, and who may have had contact with Gabrielle "Gabby" Petito or may have seen her vehicle. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
