Pursuant to the New Hampshire "Access to Government Records and Meetings" Statute (RSA Ch. 91-A), I hereby request the following records:

All documents relating to usage of traffic camera technology by the Salem Highway Department, for cameras mounted above the traffic lights located at the following intersections in Salem, NH:

-Broadway (Route 28) and Lawrence Road;
-Broadway (Route 28) and Hampshire Road;
-Broadway (Route 28) and Hampshire Street.

This request for records includes but is not limited to documents indicating:
-receipts of traffic camera equipment purchase and installation;
-scope of traffic camera deployment;
-description of the types of cameras deployed at the aforementioned intersections;
-purposes for which traffic camera technology is employed;
-If the cameras use Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) technology, then provide documents describing the means of handling and storing recorded data;
-extent and timeline for recorded data storage; and
-protocols and extent of camera data sharing between Salem Highway Department and other local, state, federal government agencies.
Please include any relevant documents, including but not limited to memos, reports, emails, meeting minutes and contracts.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

We are in receipt of your request for public documents pursuant to RSA 91-A dated August 18, 2016. As you probably understand, your request is fairly broad and responding to the same will require the assistance of multiple Town departments. As such, it may take up to thirty (30) days for the Town to compile the records you’ve requested and make a determination as to their release.
