The Government Affairs Unit requires additional clarification in order to process your request. Per Government Code section 6253.1, a public agency shall assist members of the public in making a focused and effective public records act request that reasonably describes an identifiable record or records . To clarify, you are seeking the total number of incidents in where force was used by the Police Department and a death was not the result during an incident? A reply must be received within five (5) business days of the date this email was sent or your request will be closed and a new request will be required.
