Number, if any, of Body Worn Cameras owned by this department or agency, including the manufacturer and whether a data storage package has been provided by the manufacturer.

Any documents or correspondence during the period encompassing this request regarding possible or planned acquisition of Body Warn Cameras.

Any existing or proposed usage policies regarding the use of Body Worn Cameras including protocols, training documents, data storage procedures and prohibited activities.

Any current or past litigation involving or referencing this department or agency involving the use of Body Worn Cameras.

This letter is in response to your C alifornia Public Records Act request dated February 15, 2018 wherein you requested data related to Body Worn Cameras and past litigation. Please see the City's response below:
"1. The Sacramento Police Department owns 812 Body Worn Cameras, purchased from TASER International/Axon Enterprise. The purchase included a digital media storage solution.
2. The Taser contract for the purchase of body worn cameras has been uploaded to the portal. Additionally, emails that were provided in response to a previous records request related to the acquisition of body worn cameras. Additional records may be found on the Sacramento Police Department’s website, under the Transparency Page link (see Body Worn Camera Project).
3. The Body Worn Camera policy has been uploaded to the portal.
4. The Sacramento Police Department has no responsive records.
