All records relating to the disinvitation of author Phil Bildner from speaking or presenting at Round Rock ISD as had been planned for September 2016.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Dear Mr. Thomas
Thank you for your request for information which falls under the Texas
Public Information Act and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. All
requests of this type are handled by this office. Your request has been
assigned TPIA Request No.
244
. Please be aware we are in the process of gathering the information
responsive to your request.
Also, in accordance with Texas Government code, chapter 552, there could
be a charge for the information requested. The District charges .10 per
page for copies, .10 per page for redaction and an additional charge of $15
an hour for labor with an overhead charge (20% of labor) if the completion
of your request results in 50 pages or more has to be retrieved from two or
more buildings, requires redaction and/or extensive labor to compile. If
programming is required to obtain the records, the District charges $28.50
an hour for programming and $2.20 for CPU time.
If it is estimated the cost will be more than $40 we will let you know
prior to completing the request, for you to decide if you will accept the
charges and agree to pay them plus or minus 20% or would like to alter your
request based on the cost. Any amount less than $40, we will provide you
an invoice with the final cost upon completion of the request. Payment is
required prior to receiving the information.
Though we try to respond to requests as soon as possible, the process
normally takes approximately 10 business days after date of receipt to
complete. If the information is available sooner or will take longer to
provide, we will let you know.
