Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

including records regarding the current house's design, construction, renovations (including any demolition), throughout Bob & Delores Hope’s ownership up to the present day
including relevant records relating to the property's previous and current owners, their house staff, houseguests, workers or house visitors
including former owners Bob & Delores Hope, and current(?) owner Ron Burkle, plus his house staff, houseguests, workers or house visitors
including all relevant county or city clerk records, building or renovation permits, architectural papers, demolition paperwork, police or sheriff records, fire department records, EMS or hospital records, coroners office records, or other law enforcement records, for the entire timeframe of 1919-2019

"1979 - The Bob and Dolores Hope Residence, 2466 Southridge Drive, Palm Springs CA. Commissioned 1969. Close to the Elrod House. Has 17,531 square feet, has six bedrooms and ten bathrooms. Located in a gated community, no public access. Built by Wally Niewiadomski. Lautner got the help of noted concrete expert Felix Candela in 1970. The first design burned down in 1973 during construction. Dolores Hope made sweeping interior changes to the second 1977 design - so much so that Lautner eventually distanced himself from the project. Photos by Tasya Van Ree and Warren Lawson. Deeded to daughter Linda Hope. Sold in 2016 to Ron Burkle. Helena Arahuete is doing a restoration."

In looking through the list of records you’re requesting, it does not appear that the Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder is the holder of the records in your request. The records are likely found throughout multiple agencies throughout the county and I’ve provided the contact information for those that I believe would have most of the information that you’re requesting.
