RE: PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST of August 11, 2020, Reference # W004923-081120
Dear Beryl ,
The Public Records Advocate received a records request from you on August 11, 2020. Please provide the following clarifications: Define alleged or actual illegal or inappropriate actions resulting in compensation. Do you really want only records for discharge of a weapon by RPD? Can you agree to a shorter date other than 2010?
If you wish the City to proceed with the request, please provide the requested information by 8/25/2020. Otherwise, the City will consider your request withdrawn.
You may provide a response to the City by any of the following methods:
1. by email to the Public Records Advocate, Diana Alegria, at DAlegria@riversideca.gov (mailto:Lverdusco@Riversideca.gov)
2. by regular mail to Diana Alegria, Public Records Advocate, 3900 Main Street, Riverside, CA 92522; or
3. in person at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 3900 Main Street, Riverside, CA 92522.
Upon receipt of your clarification, the City will further respond to your request as required by law, including providing you with an estimate of costs, if any, associated with producing the requested records.
If you have any questions, please contact me.  Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
Diana Alegria
