From: Russel Neiss

Dear Dr. Crear,

Please be aware that the law requires you produce materials “promptly” or at minimum to give an estimated date of completion. (Texas Government Code, Title 5, Subtitle A, Chapter 552, Subchapter A § 552.221(d))

Failure to properly respond to this request could cause you to incur the costs of litigation and payment of reasonable attorney fees as the statute defines in §552.323.

Given that this request was initially submitted March 4, the ten statutory business days have elapsed.

Please let me know when I can expect this request to be fulfilled, or if I should initiate legal proceedings to gain my lawful access to these public records.

Thanks in advance for your anticipated assistance on this matter,
Russel Neiss
