Pursuant to the Rhode Island Access to Public Records Act ("APRA"), I hereby request the following records:
A list of all certifications of training under the Access to Public Records Act by
public bodies for calendar years 2013 and 2014.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for sending the listing of Open Government presentations. This is incredibly useful and interesting. However, my aim for this request was to obtain a a list of all certifications received by the Attorney General's officer, per provision 6 in the Rules and Regulations Regarding Training under the Access to Public Records Act (http://www.riag.ri.gov/documents/opengov/APRATrainingRulesandRegulations.pdf).
That is, I seek a listing of all individuals who have been certified as trained on APRA. Please let me know if additional clarification is required.

I am in receipt of your email dated April 10, 2014. Thank you for the clarification on this Department's response to your APRA request dated March 31, 2014. You still seek a:
"listing of all individuals who have been certified as trained on APRA."
Upon review of the files maintained and possessed by the Department of Attorney General, we have determined that this Department does possess records responsive to your APRA request. Attached to this email, please find responsive records totaling eight (8) pages.
The search and retrieval for this request was less than one (1) hour, and accordingly, there is no charge under the APRA. See R.I. Gen. Laws § 38-2-4(b).
