Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
A list of all the ethics complaints for 2019/2018/2017, the title, scope and the individual that filed them.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Mr. Johnston,
This is in response to your public records request pursuant to the Access to Public Records Act ("APRA"), R.I. Gen. Laws ยง 38-2-1, et seq., received via email on December 19, 2019, seeking "[a] list of all the ethics complaints for 2019/2018/2017, the title, scope and the individual that filed them."
The lists maintained by the Ethics Commission of all complaints filed during calendar years 2017, 2018, and 2019, are attached hereto and include the complaint numbers, and the names of the complainants and the respondents but do not include the title and "scope" of the complaints. The title of a complaint is the respondent's name, In re: Joe Doe for example. Please note that the names listed in parentheses on the lists indicate the complainant's name.
This completes our response to your public records request.
