Pursuant to the North Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
Any and all records regarding the health of animals at the zoo, sent, received , or created between January 1, 2000 and January 1, 2020. This includes but is not limited to documents regarding illness, injury, zoologist examinations/visits, and death of all the animals housed in the zoo.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.

The State Records Center facility in North Carolina, part of the Division of Archives and Records, Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, received the attached public records request via USPS earlier this week. Our division will have no records responsive to this request. It has been forwarded to our public information office. They are in receipt of the request and will handle it.
