3. SCROLL DOWN TO RECORDER OF DEEDS.
4. WHEN YOU ARE ON THE RECORDER OF DEEDS PAGE, SCROLL DOWN TO SEARCH LAND RECORDS DOCUMENT DATABASE.
5. LOG IN AS GUEST.
6. UNDER NAME TYPE IN THE PROPERTY OWNER NAME THEN CLICK ON SEARCH (TOP RIGHT)
TO RESERVE TIME IN VAULT
1. GO TO PROVIDENCERI.GOV
2. UNDER CITY HALL SELECT DEPARTMENTS.
3. SCROLL DOWN TO RECORDER OF DEEDS AND CLICK AND SCROLL DOWN TO RESEARCHING A DOCUMENT AND CLICK ON BOOK A VAULT RESERVATION.

However requests for documents through the Recorder of Deeds Office are not handled by the staff for the following reason:
Land evidence records (deeds, mortgages, liens, etc.) within the City of Providence after August 1, 2004, are available for inspection, in accordance with R.I.G.L. ยง 38-2-3(e), on the City of Providence web site at http://www.providenceri.gov/recorder-of-deeds/. Records prior to August 1, 2004, are likewise available for inspection at the Recorder of Deeds office at City Hall. Please visit http://www.providenceri.gov/recorder-of-deeds/ for information about hours and location.
