Pursuant to the Maryland Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
The IACP (https://www.theiacp.org/sites/default/files/all/s/SexualAssaultGuidelines.pdf) defines Sexual Assault Information Reports as, "Incident that does not currently meet the elements of a crime but the information is filed/preserved for future evidence or criminal connections." I am requesting all the Sexual Assault Information Reports within Prince George's County for the last five years with all personally identifiable information (name, birthdate, social security number, email address, driver's license number, and mailing address) redacted. In other words, any complaint of sexual misconduct that was not escalated to an investigation within the last five years.
The requested documents will be made available to the public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available, or any of the following if email is not possible: dropbox file, flash drive, or CD-ROM.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

This responds to your recent MPIA request via Muck Rock News for “…all the Sexual Assault Information Reports within Prince George’s County for the last five years…”
Your email stated that this was a follow-up request that had earlier been directed to our agency. Please be advised that we have no record of a previous request specific to ‘Sexual Assault Reports’ from your organization although we have received other and varied requests from Muck Rock News.
I am writing to advise that the Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Office (PGSO) does not collect or process forensic evidence related to sexual assault investigations. All sexual assaults that occur in Prince George’s County are principally investigated by the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD).
