Sexual education curriculum (Portland Public Schools)

I understand you are seeking the following public records:
* A copy of the standard curriculum currently used for sexual education throughout the school district.
* If there is different standard curricula for different grade levels, I would like all of those individual curricula.

We are conducting a search to determine whether or not we possess responsive records. I will send an update as soon as possible following completion of that search, or no later than an additional ten business days.

If it is necessary to charge fees to fulfill this request, I will provide a written cost estimate detailing the work to be performed and approximate volume/nature of the records to be provided.

PPS does not currently have a single standard comprehensive sexuality curriculum, and some topics of sexual education are also covered in other units. Links are provided below for curricula used. Rights, Respect, Responsibility and FightChildAbuse.org are publicly available. The other curricula are copyrighted and exempt from disclosure under 17 USC § 106 (incorporated into Oregon Public Records Law via ORS 192.355(8)).

* Get Real and Positive Prevention Plus were grant-funded, versions used were adapted to meet grant requirements and will not match commercially purchased versions.

** Individual schools/teachers may use unique materials or outside groups to cover certain topics; I can prepare a cost estimate for the time needed to conduct a district-wide search for such materials, with the caveat that some materials will be copyrighted and thus exempt from disclosure.
