Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
-Any expense reports related to active shooter/active assailant preparation (i.e. training programs, insurance, school resource officers/school safety guardians)
-Any active shooter/active assailant insurance policy agreements
-Any student safety policies related to an active shooter/active assailant
-Any contracts/memorandums of understanding between the Polk County Sheriff's Office and the Polk County Public Schools related to the Guardian Program, in which faculty can be trained to carry a concealed weapon
Please provide materials on a rolling basis, as they become available.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Dear Sarika Ram,
Please see below in response to your public records request.
- Any expense reports related to active shooter/active assailant preparation
(i.e. training programs, insurance, school resource officers/school safety
guardians) The only expenses incurred by Polk County Public Schools is the
training stipends for our new School Safety Guardians. The expenses paid thus
far are included in the expense report provided.
- Any active shooter/active assailant insurance policy agreements Please see
the Insurance Policy provided. This policy was effective as of 7/1/18.
- Any student safety policies related to an active shooter/active assailant
Please see the provided copy of our Code of Conduct that was approved at the
7/31/18 School Board Meeting.
- Any contracts/memorandums of understanding between the Polk County
Sheriff's Office and the Polk County Public Schools related to the Guardian
Program, in which faculty can be trained to carry a concealed weapon Please
see the provided Interlocal Agreement
