Pursuant to the The Missouri Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
Email messages from any ICE employee to any Platte County Sheriff’s Department employee in 2019.
You can fulfill this request by searching the primary contacts who have interacted with ICE regarding immigration detainees at the Platte County Jail. Searching for “@ice.dhs.gov” between 1/1/19 and 12/31/19 should provide all responsive documents.
I am a member of the news media and request media status. I am writing a news article on the relationship between Platte County and ICE.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Your request has been forwarded to my attention. As with your previous request there will be fees involved for research time. Until a report has been generated for the year of 2019 an accurate estimate would be difficult to calculate. The cost to generate the initial report will be billed at $33.00 per hour.
