Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:
We are looking for all documents related to the Pinole contract with Sungard to purchase Sungard TRAKit permitting software, including the original contract, the date, implementation and maintenance costs, total cost, contract duration, and all services rendered.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Good afternoon Ms. Desmond:
The City of Pinole has received your request for City records as delineated in your email below.
The Public Records Act, California Government Code section 6250 et seq. applies to existing and identifiable public records in the possession of the City. The cost of copies of such records is generally 20 cents per page; although, there are additional costs for the copies of plans and other oversized documents. In reviewing your request, the following has been determined at this time:
Staff believes that there may be public records that exist responsive to your request, but additional time is needed to respond to your request due to the breadth of scope and time period of your request and likely responsive records may be stored at a different facility.
With voluminous requests, please contact me to discuss scheduling (e.g. whether you prefer receiving records incrementally “in batches” or just once when the search has been completed), payment of costs, and other logistics.
We appreciate your patience while the City works on responding to your request and anticipate having responsive records available for review on or before August 13, 2017.
The release of this information is made without any wavier to claim an exemption under the Public Records Act or to make any objection permitted by applicable law to any future request for this or any other document or information.

We are mainly interested in the cost of the implementation and maintenance of the software. If it makes it easier for your team to send us those pages then please don't worry about the remainder of the contract.
