Hello,

Please see attached and below for an RTK request. Please confirm receipt.

Thank you.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Mr. Slaughter:

The City of Philadelphia's response to your attached request is due this Thursday, July 3. I am currently the only Law Department attorney processing approximately 120 pending Right to Know requests and 15 appeals. Additionally, I will be out of the office for the remainder of the week starting tomorrow (July 2). As a result, we would greatly appreciate additional time to respond to your attached request. Accordingly, we ask that you please grant the City a two (2) week extension of time to respond. With this extension, the City's response to your request would be due on July 17.

Kindly reply to this message and indicate whether you are willing to grant the City this extension. If you are not willing to grant us a two week extension, please indicate if you are amenable to shorter extension of time.

Thank you for your anticipated courtesy.

Respectfully,
