To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Oklahoma Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

A list of all criminal cases prosecuted by your office in which Cushing police Master Sgt. Justin Sappington or Stillwater police detective Cody Manuel appeared as the prosecuting witness, or as another witness for the prosecution, or was the author of the prosecuting affidavit or similar charging document.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.

Sincerely,

Jamiles Lartey

Jamiles Lartey,

We just actually received your request for information, apparently filed numerous times if the electronic list is accurate. We recently discovered that our paynecounty@paynecounty.org address was not actually attached to any mailboxes. That has since been corrected, and we have received your request. We are forwarding it to the district attorney’s office. They can be reached at 405-372-4883.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I already responded to you. My agency does not keep these types of records in such a format. You should contact the individual police departments.
