Dear Mr. Coates:

I am in receipt of your APRA request. Can you provide some clarification?

When you state "a list of all complaints against Pawtucket police department officers", are you requesting a list of how many complaints presently exist? Are are you seeking copies of the complaints themselves or just a list of pending complaints? In addition, are you seeking formal complaints submitted to and investigated by the Police Department's Internal Affairs Division, or are you considering other types of complaints?

Thank you for your assistance as we start the processing of your request.
