Hello,
I'm emailing in regards to the data received in regards to the police lawsuit settlement. Although the email claims the request was completed in full. The data does not include anything about the lawsuit settlement amounts.

The original request included a request for a list of police lawsuit settlements to include not only names, but also the amount paid.

Thank you.
Zellie

Zellie,

I have received an updated report from our 3rd party administrator. I can forward you a copy of that report. But it also includes claims which were denied, dismissed, or the victim filed a notice of claim but never followed through with a lawsuit. No money was spent on those claims. Do you want those as well?

I will have to do some adjustment to the excel file also sent, to include the claimant's name.

Mr. Thomas,

I tried e-mailing you several weeks ago asking you to clarify your request, but I never heard back. I will be sending you 2 e-mails in response to your request. The first attachment is an excel sheet for all the claims against the police department and the status. The highlighted names are those that have settlement agreements/releases and are also attached.

Please let me know if you need further clarification.

Thank you very much

Hello,
I'm emailing in regards to the original request asked for any financial agreements associated with the settlement but that was not included in the excel files originally sent.

Can a file be sent updated with that information?

Zellie Thomas

From: Paterson Municipal Clerk's Office

Mr. Thomas,

This request appears to be from last year, if not from 2016? Since the City receives nearly 2,000 OPRAs per year, can you resend your original OPRA? I'm having trouble looking for it. Or please resubmit your OPRA request to the Clerk's Office
