Hello Marie,

If we understand correctly, even though Chief Frank Kaminski is listed on the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police's website* as signing onto the Shared Principles, no documentation of any form of exists regarding these within the Park Ridge Police Department?

Good afternoon,

I was under the impression that this FOIA was being handled, in full, by the City of Park Ridge's IT Department, which was my miscommunication. You were not supplied with a complete response to your FOIA. We have no emails in regards to your FOIA request, as confirmed by the City of Park Ridge's IT Department. However, the Park Ridge Police Department adopted the 10 Shared Principals into our General Orders. Additionally, I believe a presentation was created by our department in regards to presenting it to our council members. I will be forwarding that to you as soon as I receive a copy of that presentation. The City of Park Ridge strives to be as transparent as possible, as required by law, and maintain an open and honest communication with the community and media outlets. I apologize for my confusion and not accurately responding to your FOIA. I have had several conversations in regards to FOIA's with the Northwestside Coalition and have always appreciated your willingness to work with me on extensions when I needed them. I wish to maintain that healthy, open and honest communication between us and I hope you accept my apology.

I will be forwarding the documents once I have them in my possession.
Thank you,
Marie

Good morning!

Attached is a copy of the Affirmation of Shared Principals from the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police and a copy of Park Ridge Police Department's Special Order No: 19-02 Affirm and Adopt the 10 Shared Principals. In addition, we created a video to present to the public and our council members. I may have to send you multiple emails, the video files may be large.

Thank you!
Marie
