Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code ยงยง 6250), I hereby request the following records:
All available calls for service to Lunada Bay. Please include all segregable available data, including the date, time, nature of the call, response, etc.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Dear Mr. Lipton,
Our calls are entered into our CAD system and then retrieved through our Records Management System, RMS. There is no spreadsheet. For your request, you need to narrow the area and the date. Each call would require at least 3 pages of information. Requesting all calls in Lunada Bay would require a fleet of staff and an enormous amount of time. As stated earlier, Lunada Bay is one quarter of our 15000+ residents. Please be more specific for your request.
