Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code ยงยง 6250), I hereby request the following records:

We are looking for all documents related to the Palm Desert contract with Sungard to purchase Sungard Naviline permitting software, including the original contract, the date, implementation and maintenance costs, total cost, contract duration, and all services rendered.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Dear Ms. Desmond:

In response to your Public Records Act Request received by my office on August 14, 2017, the following is provided:

1) Contract between HTE, Inc., and the City of Palm Desert. There was no separate agreement approved for introduction of Naviline, it was included in one of the annual updates occurring between 1991 and 2010.

2) Listing of payments to HTE, Inc./Sungard for the periods of 1991-2010 and 2011-to date (2 documents), which provides you full detail of total cost for implementation and maintenance costs. While the City is not required to create a document to respond to a Public Records Act Request, in this instance it has done so in order to efficiently and specifically respond to your inquiry.
