Adanya,
I am not sure what you mean by data record layout, data frame, or data framework. Is the attached information what you're looking for? If not, please consider checking the Oregon Health Authority website, or the Vital Statistics portion of our website: http://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/BIRTHDEATHCERTIFICATES/VITALSTATISTICS/Pages/index.aspx.
Otherwise, please provide more context so I can determine what you're searching for.
Thank you,

Hi Keely,
It's a little complicated because I'm not sure exactly what the Oregon Health Authority tracks in terms of Maternal Deaths, but I'd like to know. Are there documents or databases besides what you attached and what's on the website that the Oregon Health Authority uses to track information about maternal deaths? If so, I am not asking for the data itself, but just what kind of data is being tracked.
Does that make any more sense? Please let me know.
Best,
Adanya

Adanya,
I think if we had additional information we would be publishing it. Also our agency is really large so it's possible that some program collects data we won't identify. However, my colleague Jeanne will do some research and see what she can find.
Thanks,
Keely West

Re: Public Records Request – Maternal Death Data (2017-0472)
Dear Ms. Lustig,
You have asked specifically what kind of data is being tracked regarding maternal deaths. Ms. West referred you to a link, which provides various data including maternal deaths. You can find the most current data available at:
http://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/BIRTHDEATHCERTIFICATES/VITALSTATISTICS/ANNUALREPORTS/VOLUME2/Documents/2016/Table502.pdf
Specifically to maternal deaths, prior to 2006, maternal deaths only included deaths that occurred during pregnancy or within 42 days of delivery. Since 2006, maternal deaths include deaths that occurred during pregnancy or within one year of delivery.
Sincerely,
