Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
The autopsy report for an unidentified woman known as the "Caspers Wilderness Park Jane Doe" who was discovered on January 6th of 2014. I believe that the Orange County Coroner Division uses a case number of 14-00097-WI in regards to this unidentified person:

I have long been interested in this case, and have a theory as to who this person could be.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Dear Mr. Delaware,
This e-mail is in response to Public Records Act request dated May 2, 2018 and received by me on May 7, 2018 for, "The autopsy report for an unidentified woman known as the "Caspers Wilderness Park Jane Doe"..." The case in question is currently under investigation and will remain so for an unknown time. The Sheriff-Coroner declines to provide any information on this open case where the investigation is on-going. (CA Evid. Code § 1040; CA Gov't Code § 6254(f), 6254(k) and 6255).
Because the records responsive to your request are now exempt from public disclosure in their entirety, we have not perused them to ascertain if other exemptions from disclosure also are applicable. If the Sheriff-Coroner at any time in the future discloses all or any part of the responsive records to you, we reserve the right at that time to claim all applicable exemptions from disclosure.
