Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:

We are looking for all documents related to Orange contract with Sungard to purchase Sungard TRAKit software, including the original contract, the date, implementation and maintenance costs, total cost, contract duration, and all services rendered.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

This email is the City’s initial response to your below request for public records received in the City Clerk’s Office on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Staff is still in the process of gathering responsive records. We anticipate having them ready by Wednesday, August 16. At that time I can let you know how many pages of responsive records were found and the cost as it is the City’s policy to charge $0.15 per page irrespective of the format in which they are produced (see Cal. Govt. Code Section 6253(b)).

Thank you for your thoughtful response. I only need the pages that show the cost of implementation and maintenance. I am a student on a shoestring budget, so it would be great if I could avoid paying extra if possible.

Thank you for your modified request below. Attached is the only document found to be responsive to your request.

We have waived the normal charge for the records as the costs of duplication were minimal. The City does reserve the right to charge in the future for any other requests regardless of size.
