Dear Muckrock News:

The Washington State Gambling Commission (Commission) received your request for records on May 25, 2021. Your request will be processed as a public records request and, as such, this letter responds to your request under RCW 42.56.520 and WAC 230-21. Please refer to the Request ID# identified above when contacting this office about your request.

You asked for copies of the following Commission records:

* Due to COVID-19 this request was lost, would it be possible to resubmit the request, the orginal of which is outlined below:
* Any and all records relating to the National Rifle Association INRA) or the National Rifle Association Foundation (NRA Foundation) within the last five years.
* In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Please clarify what is meant by "resubmit the request"

1. Do you want the original request (PRR-113, submitted on September 13, 2019) resumed with all the same information?
2. Do you want the same requested information but with the new dates between May 25, 2021 and 5 years before?

Please, provide the requested clarification within two weeks, or on before June 17, 2021.

If the Commission does not receive your clarification on or before June 17, 2021, we will proceed with our understanding of your request and will be providing you a copy of only those records identified as follows:

1. Do you want the original request (PRR-113, submitted on September 13, 2019) resumed with all the same information.

On or about July 29, 2021, you may anticipate a response from the Commission (records may be produced in installments as appropriate).

In order to provide you with an estimated cost of the entire request we would have to complete the search for all records. If you want this estimate before your first installment of records, the installment may be delayed in order for the staff to complete gathering of all records.

GMB has adopted rules pursuant to RCW 42.56.120(2)(b) related to charges for producing records in response to public records requests. Pursuant to WAC 230-21-016<https://www.wsgc.wa.gov/news/rule-changes>, for this installment/production of records, GMB Public Records is waiving the cost associated with producing these records.
