Dear Michael Best:
Your public records request for "Recordings made or taken at the NoDAPL protest on January 24 at Olympia City Hall.” dated 2/15/2017 was received by the City of Olympia on 2/15/2017.
We are understanding your request to be for certain building video camera recordings the evening of the January 24. If this is not your understanding, please let me know. It is my understanding there were no protesters in the Room 207 or on the 2nd floor where the City Council meeting was held, and it was not on the council agenda. Unless I hear differently from you by tomorrow morning, we will search for video from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, which is 1/2 hour before and 1/2 hour after the City Council meeting in the lobby area and the outside building cameras in front of and on the sides of the building. There is no audio on the building videos. If you only want video from the Lobby and outside camera in front of the Lobby, please let me know.
The City anticipates it will need until Wednesday, March 1, 2017, to respond to your request. If additional time is necessary or if the documents can be made available in less time, you will be notified.
If you have any questions, please do not reply directly to this message as direct replies are automatically routed to a central mailbox which may delay my receipt of your message. Instead, please send messages directly to me at tstolz@ci.olympia.wa.us.

Could you search for video from those sources between 6PM to 9PM? That was the time frame presented for the protest when it was apparently being planned.
Thanks!
