Mr. Wertz,

Central Records cannot assist you with your request for the NPDES database. I am forwarding your request to Mark Hildebrand in Water Quality for further information.

Thank you.

Mr. Wertz,

We do not really keep an NPDES database here at DEQ. We upload data to an EPA database. EPA has a tool that is fairly user friendly, you can search by state and county and it gives you a lot of information for what appears to be the last 3 years. It looks as if the inspection dates are not correct on all "minor" facilities that I quickly checked. The link is:

https://echo.epa.gov/facilities/facility-search?redirect=page

If you can narrow down your request, I believe we can get you more specific data.

Thank You
Mark

Mark,

Where does DEQ keep/file the Discharge Monitoring Reports? If they're in ECHO, I can't find them.

From: Hildebrand, Mark

The Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) are in individual files for each facility.
Recent DMRs are in an electronic record-keeping system and some are in archived files that are slowly being scanned into electronic files.
That is what makes your request so difficult to achieve. It would take a tremendous amount of staff time to gather these records for you and we just don’t have the resources.
I am sorry that we don’t have a database with all DMR results, you are welcome to set up an appointment with Central Records and review individual files.

Mark
