To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
I am looking for any/all my school records from my childhood. I was born in Manhatten, New York City, NY February 16, 1957. I moved to Norwalk, Connecticut in the very early 1960s and started Kindergarten in 1962 at Broad River Elementary School. I attended Broad River for K-2 and then moved to Westport in 1965. I attended Coleytown Elementary School from 3rd Grade (1965-1966) thru 5th Grade (1967-1968). Then Coleytown Junior High from 6th Grade (1968-1969) thru 9th Grade (1971-1972). Then I attended Staples High School for 10th Grade (1972-1973) and moved away from Westport sometime in early 1972. (April or May I believe)
In summary, I would greatly appreciate any/all school records available for the following;
Broad River Elementary School, Norwalk, CT 1962 - 1965
Coleytown Elementary School, Westport, CT 1965 - 1968
Coleytown Junior High School, Westport, CT 1968 - 1972
Staple High School, Westport, CT 1972 - 1973
Thank you!
I also request that, if possible and pursuant to Conn. Gen. Stat. ยง 1-212(d), fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest and not made for commercial gain. The requested documents will be processed by a representative of the news media/press and made available to the public at MuckRock.com.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 4 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Adam Schwartz
