Dear Arie Bronshtein,

Your request has been received and is being processed in accordance with Chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code, the Public Information Act. The City utilizes a software system-GovQA-to manage requests for public information. Your request will be entered into this system. You will receive an automated response that will prompt you to create a password. If you wish, you may use the system to submit future requests. The request, responses from the city, and responsive records are available on the web-hosted site provided by GovQA.
For the purposes of this request, any responsive records will be provided to you by email and will be also uploaded to GovQA. While you are not required to use GovQA to submit open record requests, both the city and requestors have found the system easy to use and helpful when accessing and reviewing responsive records during non-business hours.
NOTE: The Texas Public Information Act does not require a governmental body to create new information, to do legal research, or to answer questions. The request must ask for records or information already in existence. The governmental body will try to complete the request as soon as possible with notification if the request will require more than 10 business days to complete. The governmental body may collect a fee as prescribed by law or regulation for the requested documents. If a fee is not prescribed by law or regulation, the fee shall be the actual cost of duplicating the record(s).
If you requested plans for residential or commercial building, please note that some plans may be stamped proprietary and copyright by the architect. The City of North Richland Hills will comply with the Architectural Works and Copyright Protection Act of 1990. This will apply to homeowners requesting copies of proprietary or copyright plans.

Sincerely,
City Secretary's Office
