Dept Social Services sent letters Domestic Violence (Durham County Attorney)

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the North Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST:

1. Copy of "any and all" records by the Durham County Department Social Services "letters" sent to address: 1000 N King Charles Rd. Raleigh, NC 27610; and date correspondence sent. This may include letters sent to SEARCH NAME "Altonisha Edwards" on or about 2011, or 2012, and\or 2013.

2. Copy of "any and all" records by the Durham County Department Social Services "letters" to Altonisha Edwards, at any address 1000 N King Charles Rd Raleigh, NC 27610, including any associated apartment number. Note: The person "Edwards" no longer lives at this address, and

3. Copy of any and all records "NOTICES and\or DSS letters" sent by the City and\or County Durham, Durham, NC, and\or Durham County Dept Social Services to 3712 Suffolk St Durham NC from 2000 to 2018, resident "last name" equal-to = Edwards;

NOTE: We realize that the Dept Social Services may need to gain the above RESPONSIVE information from the Durham City Attorney. Nonetheless, the System Of Record (SOR) resides withing DSS and\or the County database(s) SOR.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

We received DSS response below claiming exemption under NCGS sections 108a-80 and 7b-301 which does 'not' apply when request made by 'parent', parent and minor-child victim(s) witness[es], reporters-informants of NCGS7B-301 Child Abuse, maltreatment and illegal-acts, activities direct, proximate cause of physical, emotional, mental injuries under color law. Notwithstanding, the County Attorney previously provided by and through Greene County Court Ordered Subpoena by the father\parent on or about March 2016. Parent last-name "Howell", Green County, Snow Hill Court.

And given this was provided by Durham County Attorney, please also provide your copy of the Subpoena sent to DCA. Also, attached herein, the intentional physical disfiguring injury imposed on the (4 year old) minor-child at the time Subpoena sent to DCA, and as NCGS-7B-301 was reported March 4th, 5th, 6th, and validated "good-faith report" by DSS onsite in father\son home March 10th, 2016.
