Pursuant to the North Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
data that involves coal plant renewals from the past 5 years. It should include names, dates of when the permit was requested and issued, allotted emission rates from pollutants such as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides. Lastly, if possible inspection records that indicate current emission rates.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.

I hope you are staying healthy and safe during these pressing times. I am inquiring about a request I made on March 2, 2020. I am looking for data that involves coal plant permit renewals for the past five years. I hope that it includes: names of facilities, dates of when the permit was requested and issued, allotted emission rates from pollutants such as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides. Hello,
We were able to pull the list, but were wondering if it can be more specific to perhaps what kind of facilities you were inquiring about, etc. The list we have pulled includes more than just utility facilities.
