I am appealing the response to my May 31, 2021, FOIA request to the Niles-Maine District Library:
"All emails sent to, from, or copied to Char Foss-Eggeman, or containing any variation of: "Char Foss-Eggeman" between January 1, 2020 and the date this request is processed (inclusive of those dates) from any library board trustee."
On June 7, 2021, Susan Lempke replied with two emails from trustees' library accounts. She further said that she asked four trustees for responsive email from their personal accounts that they sometimes use for library business. None of them replied to her, making it impossible to know whether they had no responsive emails or they did have emails but aren't turning them over. I ask that you instruct Ms. Lempke to contact each of the trustees for a definitive response one way or the other.
Thank you.
