Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:

all logs, data, transcripts, media files, and recordings of all emergency (911) and non-emergency calls for service (CFS) received on Sunday May 15th 2022 between the hours of 2pm and 6pm.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank

you for writing to Village of Niles with your request for information pursuant

to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140/1 et seq.  

 

On

5/17/2022, you requested the following documents: all logs,

data, transcripts, media files, and recordings of all emergency (911) and

non-emergency calls for service (CFS) received on Sunday May 15th 2022 between

the hours of 2pm and 6pm.

 

We have enclosed the CAD Call Logs for all the calls for service within the requested time frame. We forwarded the request for the recordings of all emergency (911) and non-emergency calls for service on to our Dispatch Center. They are unable to process this request due to it being an Unduly Burdensome Request per Section 5 ILCS 140/3(g). They dispatch for multiple Police and Fire agencies and are unable to filter the calls out by agency. We will afford you the opportunity to narrow this request. If you would like the 911 calls from any of the specific CAD Call Logs provided, let us know and we can forward that request on to our Dispatch Center. We will pause this request until we receive your response.

I have followed up with our Dispatch Center and there are no 911 calls related to this incident. 2022-19541 is a call created by an officer for a park check. No 911 call.
