To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
1) The number of first-time students who enrolled in your college from each public high school in New York City, disaggregated by race in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.
2) The number of first-time students enrolled in your college who graduated from any public high school in New York City, disaggregated by race in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.
3) The number of first-time students enrolled in your college who graduated from any public high school in New York state, disaggregated by race in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
This email is written to acknowledge receipt of your letter, received in our office May 9, 2022, in which you seek certain records pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law (Public Officers Law, Article 6) from Queens College (the "College").
Pursuant to Public Officers Law §89(3)(a), you shall be notified in writing within 20 business days (on or before June 9, 2022) whether your request will be granted in whole or in part or denied, or will be given a date by which the College will make that determination.
Please note that, if your request is granted in whole or in part, there is a fee for photocopying and there may also be a fee associated with the production of records in electronic format. The College will advise you of these fees before any production is made.
