Times Square Ramming Footage

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:

Any and all body camera footage or dashcam footage captured between 7:30pm and and 8:15pm by NYPD officers or vehicles assigned to Times Square, Manhattan on September 3, 2020.

For the purposes of this request, please include footage captured along 7th Avenue or Broadway Avenue between 44th Street and 48th Street.

On the night of September 3, at least one driver allegedly attempted to plow into a crowd of protesters: https://gothamist.com/news/video-shows-driver-plowing-black-lives-matter-protesters-times-square

I request that I be properly classified as a media requester. I am an investigative journalist who has written numerous articles on topics of public interest for the National Interest, Reason Magazine, America Magazine and the Armenian Weekly, and am making this request in an editorial capacity.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
