Pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933), I hereby request the following records:
1) Lists of records kept relating to customer election of metered water billing, including the location and form (e.g. paper, microfiche, computer) of the records, and the date ranges of the records kept
2) Records retention policy of records kept relating to customer election of metered water billing
3) Reports, memos, correspondence, intergovernmental communications, etc. relating to accusations, or findings of, inadequate record keeping relating to customer requests
4) Reports, memos, correspondence, intergovernmental communications, etc. relating to problems with the implementation of metered billing
5) Reports, memos, correspondence, intergovernmental communications, etc. related to DEP policy where DEP records are missing or inadequate.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
