Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:

Held by the New York Department of Environmental Conservation (NYDEC) related to the management and conservation of the gray wolf population in New York State.

As a concerned citizen, I am interested in understanding the policies and practices that NYDEC employs to manage and protect the gray wolf population. I am requesting any records in the possession of the NYDEC that pertain to the following:

Gray wolf population management plans, reports, and studies.
Records of communication between the NYDEC and other state or federal agencies, as well as tribal governments and non-governmental organizations, regarding gray wolf management and conservation.
Records related to permits issued by the NYDEC for the lethal removal of wolves, including but not limited to applications, authorizations, and reports.
Records related to monitoring and research activities conducted by the NYDEC, including but not limited to GPS tracking data and population surveys.
I request that you do not withhold or redact any responsive records, as I intend to pursue all available legal remedies, including filing a lawsuit to compel the production of records, if necessary.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
