Pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933), I hereby request the following records:
All complaints submitted via phone, email, mail, the NYCHA website, other online portals, electronic communications, or in person to the New York City Housing Authority regarding any outdoor lights, lighting, or lighting fixtures at NYCHA housing developments. Please limit the scope of this search from July 2014 until the time this request is processed.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

A diligent search for responsive records is underway, however there may not be a way to separate outdoor lighting complaints from other types of lighting complaints within public housing. Would like us to provide you all light related service requests for the time period in question with the location of the light?

A diligent search of New York City Housing Authority’s records disclosed one CD-DVD of records.
Upon receipt of a check or money order in the amount of $6.95 payable to the New York City Housing Authority (for the statutory reproduction fee of $5.00 for CD-DVD and $1.95 for the cost of postage via First Class Mail), we will forward the records to you.

9th Floor, New York, N.Y. 10007; Attention: Freedom of Information Law Office.
